This NEW carbon fiber Front Splitter for the Shelby GT500 hits the market just in time for the Christmas shopping season.

Bangastang is the first to introduce the carbon fiber Front Splitter for the '10-'14 GT500.  This Front Splitter is superior in design, materials and price to other Front Splitters on the market.

Proven on the track with it's design this APR Splitter will increase the downforce and improve stability at high speeds on the street and track.  Made from a sheet of carbon fiber that extends back and acts as an undertray which decreases air drag.  These Splitters come with stainless steel support rods.

Many of the carbon fiber Mustang accessories on the market are made from hand laid carbon fiber this Front Splitter is made from vacuum formed carbon fiber which is lighter and stronger then the cheaper quality hand laid process.  Vacuum formed carbon fiber also has a better finish then hand laid carbon fiber.

Proper installation requires the removal of the front fascia.  The Splitter attaches to the 16 OEM holes.  Holes are required to be drilled in the Splitter and two small holes need to be drilled into the lower grill for the support rods.  Installation should take you two hours with the help of a friend.

With a price of $399 and it's superior materials and design we give this carbon fiber Front Splitter for the 2010-2013 GT500 a BIG Thumbs up.  To place an order just click on the following link

Mustang California Special Side Scoops

There are several brands of Mustang Side Scoops on the market for the 2005-2009 Ford Mustangs.  The most popular and desirable Mustang Side Scoops are the Ford OEM Side Scoops known as the California Special.  Called the California Special Side Scoops because they came as standard equipment on the California Special Mustangs in 2007-2009.
Besides the California Special the CS Mustang Side Scoops were also standard on the 2007-2009 GT500 Super Snake and the 2007-2009 Shelby GT.

The California Special Mustang Side Scoops are made from high impact injection molded plastic. The CS Scoops come with 3M double sided tape pre-installed along with installation instructions.   Mounting pins are also including in the packaging that require drilling holes into the quarter panel of the Mustang.  Drilling holes into the quarter panel is not necessary when installing the CS Side Scoops.  The CS Scoops can be securely installed using the supplied 3M tape and promoter.

There are a lot of CHEAP products on the market for the Mustangs.  The majority of the inexpensive products are made from poor quality materials and have fitment issues. We strongly suggest that you spend the money and get quality products for your Mustang.  Buying cheap aftermarket Mustang accessories usually result in product failure that require an additional purchase to replace the original product.  Buy cheap and buy twice, buy good and keep.

2010-2013 Mustang Quarter Window Louvers

Our 2010-2013 Mustang Quarter Window Louvers start at $184.95 PAINTED.  Installing a pair of Mustang Window Louvers is easy and changes the look of your Mustang in a few minutes.

Any novice can install a pair of Mustang Quarter Window Scoops and it doesn't require any tools, reading the instructions and following them to the "T" is all you need,  we supply all the necessary materials.  Most of the Mustang Quarter Window Scoops on the market today attach with
3M Double-Sided Tape.  3M Double-Sided Tape has been around for a long time and is used to attach many trim pieces on cars including emblems, side moldings and chrome trim to name a few.  The
3M Tape comes in different bonding strengths.

The weight of Mustang Quarter Window Louvers is very light but needs to be bonded securely to the quarter window glass to prevent any mishap.  The first step in installing a set of Mustang Window Louvers is to clean the glass surface and remove any wax using soap and water and following up with your basic rubbing alcohol.  Dabbing some alcohol on a cotton ball and rubbing it over the glass will do the trick...again we supply all the necessary items.  One thing to remember you should never try to install any products with 3M Double-Side Tape with temperatures are under 65 degrees.  Peel the protective backing off the tape and apply Promoter.  What is Promoter?  Promoter is a liquid bonding agent that acts like a superglue to increase the strength of the 3M Tape.  Apply the promoter to the tape and while the tape is still moist push the Louver onto the surface of the glass pressing firmly on all the edges.  Within seconds the Louvers will start to bond to the glass.  We suggest that you don't drive your car for at least 24 hours while the tape bonds.  The time it takes to install a set of  Mustang Louvers should be less than 20 minutes.

Mustang Shift Knob

Installing a Mustang Shift Knob is easy and adds a custom look to your Mustang.  One of the  features of a custom Mustang Shift Knob is they are available to fit the OEM Ford Shifter as well as aftermarket Mustang Shifters from MGW, Steeda, Pro 5.0, Shelby, Barton and Hurst.

Our Mustang Shift Knobs are available in a variety of colors to match the exterior paint of late model Mustangs....Torch Red, Vista Blue, Windveil Blue, Grabber Blue, Kona Blue, Legend Lime  and Black.

In addition to matching colors, custom engraving is also available on our Mustang Shift Knobs.  Stripe patterns, names, horsepower numbers and company logos can be engraved.  Although a small item in comparison to other Mustang accessories a custom shift knob can highlight your interior with color.

Another advantage of a custom shift knob is the size of the ball. Most OEM shift knobs are 2" in diameter, with a custom shift knob you can increase the diameter to 2 1/4".  Many car enthusiasts
prefer the larger diameter shift knob when driving a manual transmission.  It's easier to hold a quarter in your hand than a penny.

Installing a custom shift knob in your Mustang will take less than one hour and the cost is under $80.

Bangastang carries a large selection of Mustang Shift Knobs for late model Mustang here's the link to our 2005-2009 Mustang Shift Knobs

Fiberglass Mustang Hoods

Adding a Fiberglass Mustang Hood can increase cold air flow, decrease heat and drastically change the look of your Mustang.  Fiberglass hoods for Mustangs have been around since the 1960's and have evolved over time while getting stronger, lighter, more functional and stylish.

Some of us old school Gearheads remember the Mustang fiberglass hoods from the original Mustangs; the GT350 and GT500KR were outfitted with fiberglass hoods.  Back in the day fiberglass hoods were used as a weight savings measure.  It was not uncommon for OEM from the 60's to weigh in access of 100 lbs, these hoods were thick gauge steel, lined with a felt-like material and held up by massive springs.

Fiberglass was first developed in 1932 by the Owens company which later became Owens Corning.  Initially used in the aviation industry to replace molded wood.  Fiberglass caught on in the 1950's in the production of boats and sports cars.  Saving weight was the advantage with fiberglass and owning a fiberglass hoods became the desire of many drag racing enthusiasts.  The formula was simple decrease weight and go faster.

One of the issues of early fiberglass hoods were the Hood Spring Mechanism they were too strong and caused the fiberglass hoods to bow.  The OEM Hood Spring Mechanism were designed to work with the heavier steel hoods not the lightweight fiberglass hoods.  Sometimes mixing aftermarket parts with OEM designs does not make a winning combination.

Let's fast-forward to 2012, there are many fiberglass Mustang Hoods on the market today in many different styles from cowl, retro look to Super Snake.  One thing that has not changed is that all fiberglass hoods require proper prepping before paint and proper prepping means blocking sanding.  Don't be fooled by a paint shop that tells you they can paint a fiberglass hood for $400.....RUN LIKE HELL.  I recently visited a local Mustang Speed Shop here in San Diego and one of their customers had his 2007 GT500 there being serviced, the Shelby was outfitted with a Venom Hood by Trufiber,  whoever did the painting did a HORRIBLE job, the hood had more orange peel than a grapefruit and was not properly block sanded or wet sanded.  My guess is the hood was painted for under $500 and it showed.
Suncoast Hood being block sanded
The above photo shows a Suncoast fiberglass Hood being block sanded by our shop,  notice how putty was applied to even out low spots. Several hours went into block sanding and getting the
hood ready for paint, this was not a $400 job.  We also use top quality materials like PPG Deltron
paint and PPG 2021 clear.  Once finished the hood is wet sanded with 800, 1,500 and 3,000 grit sandpaper  followed up with a few different compounds for polishing and buffing.

Finished Hood painted by Bangastang

This hood was crated up and shipped to one of our customers on the East Coast, he was very happy with the finished product.

Bangastang has just added fiberglass Mustang Hoods by Seibon and BMC Extremes to our line-up.

Mustang Side Scoops

In 1964 my family traveled to New York City to visit my grandmother. I was four years old at the time and remember how big everything was in New York. One of the tourists attractions that my family saw while in New York was the World’s Fair in Flushing Meadows New York. On April 17th 1964 the Ford Mustang was unveiled to the public at the World’s Fair, and I was there. My dad worked for the Ford Motor Company River Rouge plant, located just outside Detroit. I’m sure my dad was very proud that day when the Mustang made its’ debut but had no idea that he and his co-workers would play a such a major part in the success of the Mustang.

When the Ford Mustang was released in 1964 it set the automotive world on fire. One of the advertising slogans that Ford used to describe the Mustang called it “The Car You Always Promised Yourself”. The slogan proved itself correct as 22,000 orders were placed for the Mustang within
days of its’ debut. Within the year Ford had sold over 400,000 Mustangs.

The 1964 1/2 Mustang was a combination of parts from the Ford Falcon and Fairlane but a body style of its’ own. Available with a 170 cubic inch straight six engine, 260 cubic inch V8 or the 289 cubic inch Hi-Po. The vast majority of ‘64 1/2 Mustang were purchased with six cylinder engines.
In August 1964 a very young Ford executive named Lee Iococca placed a call to the late Carroll Shelby asking him to build a high performance Mustangs that could hold its’ own on the track and street. Shelby was reluctant but agreed to build the cars. The Shelby GT350 was unveiled on January 27th 1965. The sticker price for the Shelby GT350 was $4,547.00 which wasn’t attractive to your average car buyer while the sticker price for the base Mustang was $2,500.00. The Shelby GT350 wasn’t a hit in terms of sales but it was a hit on the track.

The ‘65 Shelby GT350 has several performance upgrades including a high rise manifold, holly carburetor, 4 speed manual transmission, side exhaust pipes with two-inch Glasspak mufflers, trunk mounted battery, fiberglass hood with functional scoop, deleted rear seat for weight savings and 15 inch wheels. One of the exterior modifications were Side Brake Scoops which were functional and included air ducts to cool the rear brakes. Side Brake Scoops on a domestic car was very new territory. The first side scoops that came on the GT350 were made from fiberglass. Not all the the ‘65 GT350 were fitted with Side Brake Scoops.

Having the capacity to cool the brakes on a race car was very important to insure brake reliability and the Mustang Side Scoops were a vital part in the performance of the GT350.  Functional Brake Side Scoops have become a thing of the past on the Ford Mustang and have been replaced by the Mustang Side Scoops that are cosmetic. When the 2005 Mustang was released, aftermarket Mustang accessories flooded the market, everything from spoilers, hood scoops, mirror covers, window louvers, window scoops and Mustang side scoops were quickly added to the Mustangs to bring about the old school retro look.

There are several brands of Mustang Side Scoops on the market today for the ‘05-’10 Mustang some of the brands are Xenon, Willpack, Ford, 3D Carbon, Street Scene and Cervini. Most of the Mustang Side Scoops manufactured today are made from urethane, injection molded plastic and some are made from fiberglass. Selecting a Mustang Side Scoop for your Stang may take a while because of the wide selection and your budget. Not all Mustang Side Scoops are created equal.

Installation is pretty simple provided you follow the directions and take your time. The most important factor when installing Mustang Window Scoops is temperature. The vast majority of Mustang Side Scoops on the market are installed using 3M double-sided tape. The outdoor
temperature needs to be at least 65 degrees for the 3M tape to bond. If your Mustang is sitting in the garage and it’s the middle of winter it’s probably not a good idea to install side scoops using 3M tape, there is a good chance the tape will not bond, which could cause your side scoops to fall off while driving…not a good thing. Now let’s assume it’s a 80 degree day and you’re ready to put your scoops on, your first step is to clean the surface where your side scoops will be attached. Using soap and water clean the area of all dirt and grime and let dry. As added insurance use some household rubbing alcohol and wipe the surface to remove any wax residue. Here’s a tip before installing any accessory using 3M double-sided tape, visit your local auto paint supply store and pick up a bottle or Promoter. Promoter is a clear liquid that acts like a super glue to help the adhesion process of the 3M tape. We highly recommend using Promoter when applying accessories that attaches with 3M tape. Okay now, it’s time to lay that side scoop on your rear quarter panel but first do a test fit to make sure you line up the scoop properly it might be a good idea use a grease pencil and mark the lines where the scoops needs to go. Remove the backing on the 3M tape and apply a light coat of promoter to the 3M tape surface, be careful not to spill any promoter on your car it will stain your paint. Push the scoops
onto your quarter panel making sure the 3M tape makes contact with all the edges. Do not drive your Mustang for several hours, you need to allow the 3M tape to bond to the surface of your Mustang. As much as you would like to show off your newly installed side scoops to your Mustang buddy across town don’t, give your scoops sometime to dry you’ll be glad you did.

Question, did Carroll Shelby design the original Side Scoops for the Mustang?  Were side scoops used on domestic cars prior to the GT350?

Carroll Shelby leaves behind a long history in the automotive business that touched many and will continue influence Mustang and other cars for years to come.  Thanks Carroll Shelby.

After four years of selling Mustang accessories and providing many of their customers with packages that have won them first place trophies Bangastang has thrown their hat into customizing the Shelby GT500.

The Bangastang Hell Snake is a signature series custom makeover that is available to all 2007-2013 Shelby GT500.  All Hell Snake conversions are treated to a complete repaint using several coats of PPG paint and clear.  All vinyl stripes and graphics are replaced with paint.  After paint three different grits of sandpaper are used; 800, 1,500 and 3,000 to remove all orange peel.  Several compounds are used during the buffing and polishing stage to achieve a high gloss paint finish.

A great deal of attention is given to the engine bay of the Hell Snake.  A complete engine dress-up kit
is standard that includes a Bangastang Radiator Cover, Battery and Master Cylinder Cover, billet Shock Tower Covers, billet Fuse Box and ECM Cover, billet Engine Caps, billet Coil Covers and  billet mounting hardware.  Several of the billet engine dress-up parts are new to the market for the
2010-2013 GT500 and only available from Bangastang.  Where many fail to pay attention to detail
Bangastang picks up the ball and carries it over the goal line.  One of the many standard features of the Hell Snake is a painted cowl that is painted to match the stripes.  Bangastang believes in style and thinking out of the box.

The interior on the Hell Snake receives a makeover as well with upgraded leather that has striping that matches the exterior.  Door panels are also accented with matching stripes.  If it's leather it's redone to match.  Billet interior pieces top off the cabin.

The first Hell Snake that we built features several optional carbon fiber accessories; hood, roof cover,
trunk lid, rear spoiler, front splitter and rocker panels.  Bangastang offers a wide variety of upgrades
for all Hell Snake conversions from appearance to performance.

The Bangastang Hell Snake is a custom makeover package for the 2007-2013 Shelby GT500 that utilizes top notch materials, products and craftsmen.  Our goal is to transform a GT500 into a show
car that takes it to a higher level.

Mustang Cold Air Intake

One of the biggest problems with being a ‘Go Fast’ kind of owner is the cost associated with adding extra horsepower to your ride. Let’s face it, most Go Fast Mustang Parts and Accessories are costly, some are REALLY costly. So what is a budget conscious speed junkie to do?

Bangastang is very pleased to be able to offer Go Fast Parts to the budget builder as well. We have a Mustang Cold Air Intake for your 2011 - 2010 5.0 Mustang GT that delivers some excellent performance for the investment (that is a lot of fancy talk for Lots of Bang for your Buck!).

Our Mustang GT Cold Air Intake will relocate where your car draws the air it breathes, and allow it to draw in colder air. The colder the air your car breathes the denser it is, and the more fuel it can carry, making your car perform better. It is made from polished tubular aluminium that is black power-coated and will also add a little ‘look good’ to your engine compartment.

While anyone can claim horsepower increases, we decided to do a real world test and see just what this thing can do. We dyno’d a car before we installed the V6 Mustang Cold Air Intake, which by the way was stupidly simple to install. Then we dynoed it again after installation and we were pretty surprised and impressed with the results. This Mustang Cold Air Intake delivered increases of +22 Horsepower and +27 Torque at the rear wheels. For a simple bolt on part this is an impressive increase by anyone's standard of measure. This is the Best Mustang Cold Air Intake we have ever tested by a wide margin.

One more thing to know is that this is another 100% Made in the USA product that we at Bangastang are proud to be able to offer our our customers. We believe there are excellent USA made options, and offer them whenever we can.

Mustang GT Plenum Cover

We all know that Ford builds nice cars. But let’s face it, when you build them at the rate they do you don’t get the chance to design a lot of nifty, custom type touches to your cars. Let’s take the Mustang GT. It could have been WAY cooler that it is coming off the line, but it wasn't.

Why it wasn’t really boils down to 2 simple reasons: Because they end customer 1) may not LIKE your custom touches, and 2) it makes the car much more expensive to produce and actually drives away customers. So instead Ford produces a car that is a good, solid base to start with.

At Bangastang we really prefer this 'blank canvas' approach because it gives the car owner the change to add the Mustang Parts and Accessories that truly expresses their personality and sense of style. We talk with folks that hot hot and show their Custom Mustangs and we produce products that help make the most of the art the owner wants to create.

One of our biggest sellers for folks driving the Mustang GT is a custom ‘look good’ part, and it is our Mustang GT Plenum Cover. This product is 100% made in the USA by Bangastang, and comes custom painted to match the Ford factory paint on your Ford Mustang GT. It is very well designed and produced, as are all their products, so installation is a snap. Assuming you are not a dunce with basic hand tools it should go on very quickly.

Bangastang's
Mustang GT Plenum Cover is one of the best Mustang GT Accessories on the market. If you own a 2005 - 2010 Mustang GT then you need one of these, now. It will make your car look different and BETTER than the other cars at the show, and it will not break your wallet. It seems this is one of those perfect products that you just need to have, doesn't it?

Bangastang Hell Snake

Our first Bangastang Hell Snake was unveiled on March 11th to a large crowd of Mustang enthusiasts in southern California.
The Hell Snake by Bangastang are custom upgrade packages that are available to any 2007-2013 GT500. The upgrade packages include exterior upgrades, interior upgrades, suspension upgrades and performance upgrades.  Bangastang offers three phases of upgrades.  Our Phase I is a combination of exterior, interior and engine dress-up.  Phase II adds suspension upgrades such as lowering springs, struts, sway bars and brakes.  Our Phase III adds performance with custom dyno tuning, headers, exhaust and supercharger upgrades.
Bangastang Hell Snakes are custom makeovers that are designed to be show cars. Our exterior upgrade include a complete repainting.  Four coats of PPG Deltron paint is applied with six coats of PPG 2021 clear.  Three different grits of sandpaper are used to wet sand the Hell Snake.  During the buffing and polishing process several different compounds and buffing pads are used to achieve a show car finish.
We wanted a paint finish that would look a mile deep. All stripes and graphics were applied with paint, no vinyl decals are used.

The engine bay on the Hell Snake was a very important element of the customizing.  We wanted to create an engine compartment that would grab your attention.  A 2.9 Whipple supercharger that was polished would set the tone for the engine bay, we had all billet accessories polished to match with
the finish of the blower.  The coolant tanks, fuse box cover and ECM cover, billet shock tower covers,
thermostat housing and all mounting hardware were professionally polished.  Even the latch on the
hood was polished.  We believe small details make a big difference in how a car will show.  Our
Bangastang Radiator Cover for the '10-'12 GT500 was painted to match the stripe design of the
Hell Snake.

All Hell Snakes come with custom leather interior that matches up with exterior stripes.  The
headrest are embroidered with Hell Snake.  The door panels are also reupholstered with stripes that mimic the fender stripes.  The shifter boot and e-brake handle boot are also customized.  Several
billet accessories from Silverhorse Racing were also added to the Hell Snake interior.

Options for the Hell Snake are extensive.  Our goal is to build a custom show car that looks the part and performs.  We don't believe in using cheap materials or products.  Buy quality accessories and buy once, buy cheap parts and you'll keep replacing them over and over.

On March 17th at the 50th Anniversary Shelby Team Bash in Las Vegas the Hell Snake owned by Dave P. took home a 1st Place trophy in it's class.  One spectator said "the Hell Snake is not a car but a piece of art". Congratulations to Dave and his Hell Snake.

Our first Hell Snake features a carbon fiber hood, roof cover, trunk lid, rear spoiler, front splitter and rocker panels.  Several new parts billet aluminum engine dress-up were installed on the Hell Snake, a
Fuse Box Cover and ECM Cover.  Both Fuse Box Cover and ECM Cover are now available from
Bangastang here's the link 2010-2012 Billet Covers
Besides looking the part the Hell Snake also performs.  A complete Eibach Coil Over suspension kit, Eibach Sway Bars, Blow By Racing Lower Control Arms, Whipple 2.9 Supercharger, Shelby Extreme brakes, JLT 127mm  Cold Air Intake, JBA 3 inch exhaust the Hell Snake laid down 685 RWHP and 627 RWTQ,  with 17 lbs of boost after custom dyno tuning by Greg Rentis of Renegade Performance

The Hell Snake was a joint project from Bangastang,  Pat's Custom Cars and Danny Whitfield. Contributors to the build included Cal Pony Cars, Renegade Performance and SilverHorse Racing,
thanks for your great products.

Our Hell Snake packages start at $22,900. For more information about the Hell Snake click on the following link Bangastang Hell Snake

Engine Bay Dress Up Made Easy

Chances are if you own a Shelby GT500 you are showing it on the weekends. If you are showing your car then you know that one of the areas that the Judges really look at long and hard is the engine bay. They spend a lot of time poking in and around looking for something to give you points for or deduct points for. This is where most trophies are won or lost, and you need to do all you can to really score points here.

Bangastang's Shelby GT500 Radiator Cover is one of those products that can help you in your quest for the gold. This product really makes a visual impact right off the bat. The minute you open the hood your car will look different, better, COOLER than the other cars around you. This Mustang Radiator Cover gives your engine bay a sleek, totally custom look for a price that is very reasonable. Just make sure you get the right one for your model year, as Bangastang has a Radiator Cover to fit the 2010 - 2012 GT500 as well as the TRUE bad ass the Shelby GT500 KR King of the Road!

This product gets better and better as you discover that Bangastang delivers it custom painted to match the original Ford paint codes your Shelby GT500 came with, so it will absolutely match your stock paint regardless of the body or stripe color.

But what really continues to impressed me is the consistent high-quality fit and finish of this and all of Bangastang’s products. This Shelby GT500 Radiator Cover is a nearly idiot-proof bolt on installation and it fits like a factory product so no muss, no fuss, no fitting, trimming, or cussing in the driveway.  the most is that it

If you are showing your car you NEED one of these on your car or you will be seeing a lot of 2nd and 3rd place trophies on your mantel. .

Auto Magazine Collection for Sale

Every so often we come across rare Mustang parts but in this case it's a collection of automotive magazines that date back to 1950.  Ten years ago while attending a garage sale I saw a large collection of automotive magazines, being a avid car enthusiast I purchased all of the magazine which were in several boxes.  For over ten years these magazines have been stored away and occasionally read.
The publications include Motor Life, Motor World, Car Life, Hop Up and Motor Life, Speed Age, Motor Trend, Speed Age, Road & Track, Sport Car Illustrated and two official programs from the Indy 500. All totaled there are 122 magazines with the oldest being a March 1950 issue of Motor Trend  and the most current is 1966 issue of Car Life.  For any automotive historian or car enthusiast reading these magazines is quite an education into the automotive world from decades ago.
The automotive industry has changed since 1950 and reading articles about disc brakes, dual carbs and automotive icons of days past will give you an education into the auto industry that would take Ken Burns several years to produce in a documentary.  The articles in this collection of magazines is fascinating history.

We're offering this collection of 122 magazines for  $1,500.00.  We will provide a detailed list of all the magazines in a pdf file for interested parties.  If you're interested please send email us at info@bangastang.com

Bangastang 2010 Shelby GT500 Makeover Part III

The rendering is finished and the colors selected for our '10 GT500 now it's time to strip the car and get it ready for paint.  All badges, lights, mirrors, door handles, door panels, window molding, rear spoiler, rocker panels, vinyl stripes, front and rear fascia would be removed.  We would start with a blank canvas and use our own paint to create a show car that would turn heads.  It took a few hours to strip the parts off and label all the hardware.

The most time consuming part of the tear down was removing the vinyl stripes, which took the course of the day. When removing vinyl stripes it's a good idea to use a heat gun.  Removing the stripes would be fairly easy just time consuming, laying down new stripes would be an all day task.
Now our canvas was blank and we knew what we had to work with.  The GT500 only had 4,300 miles on the odometer so we didn't have to worry about rust.  Lucky for us we didn't get any surprises once the car was striped.  The GT500 was purchased used from a Ford dealer with under 2,000 miles.  So you wondered why would someone trade in a 2010 GT500 with under 2,000 miles, my guess they were scared to drive it.  Some people are better suited for a four cylinder than 500 plus horsepower.
A good friend of mine with a '03 Cobra told me something a while back he said, "don't buy a car that
surpasses your skills as a driver".  Don't pick a fight with Horace Gracie you might have to tap out.
While the car was coming apart, we were busy ordering parts for the makeover. Not having a part available for a custom makeover can throw a serious delay in your schedule.  We ordered and the
parts arrived.  The first part that we installed was the carbon fiber trunk lid from VIS Racing.

This is the first time we've used a VIS Racing part on a build but it will not be the last.  We were impressed with the finish and fit of the trunk lid.  Here's a Youtube video with our painter Pat
talking about the VIS product http://youtu.be/WJAuoKOir3w

It's time to start masking the GT500 and get it into paint booth.

Part IV is coming soon.
