Bangastang Hell Snake

Our first Bangastang Hell Snake was unveiled on March 11th to a large crowd of Mustang enthusiasts in southern California.
The Hell Snake by Bangastang are custom upgrade packages that are available to any 2007-2013 GT500. The upgrade packages include exterior upgrades, interior upgrades, suspension upgrades and performance upgrades.  Bangastang offers three phases of upgrades.  Our Phase I is a combination of exterior, interior and engine dress-up.  Phase II adds suspension upgrades such as lowering springs, struts, sway bars and brakes.  Our Phase III adds performance with custom dyno tuning, headers, exhaust and supercharger upgrades.
Bangastang Hell Snakes are custom makeovers that are designed to be show cars. Our exterior upgrade include a complete repainting.  Four coats of PPG Deltron paint is applied with six coats of PPG 2021 clear.  Three different grits of sandpaper are used to wet sand the Hell Snake.  During the buffing and polishing process several different compounds and buffing pads are used to achieve a show car finish.
We wanted a paint finish that would look a mile deep. All stripes and graphics were applied with paint, no vinyl decals are used.

The engine bay on the Hell Snake was a very important element of the customizing.  We wanted to create an engine compartment that would grab your attention.  A 2.9 Whipple supercharger that was polished would set the tone for the engine bay, we had all billet accessories polished to match with
the finish of the blower.  The coolant tanks, fuse box cover and ECM cover, billet shock tower covers,
thermostat housing and all mounting hardware were professionally polished.  Even the latch on the
hood was polished.  We believe small details make a big difference in how a car will show.  Our
Bangastang Radiator Cover for the '10-'12 GT500 was painted to match the stripe design of the
Hell Snake.

All Hell Snakes come with custom leather interior that matches up with exterior stripes.  The
headrest are embroidered with Hell Snake.  The door panels are also reupholstered with stripes that mimic the fender stripes.  The shifter boot and e-brake handle boot are also customized.  Several
billet accessories from Silverhorse Racing were also added to the Hell Snake interior.

Options for the Hell Snake are extensive.  Our goal is to build a custom show car that looks the part and performs.  We don't believe in using cheap materials or products.  Buy quality accessories and buy once, buy cheap parts and you'll keep replacing them over and over.

On March 17th at the 50th Anniversary Shelby Team Bash in Las Vegas the Hell Snake owned by Dave P. took home a 1st Place trophy in it's class.  One spectator said "the Hell Snake is not a car but a piece of art". Congratulations to Dave and his Hell Snake.

Our first Hell Snake features a carbon fiber hood, roof cover, trunk lid, rear spoiler, front splitter and rocker panels.  Several new parts billet aluminum engine dress-up were installed on the Hell Snake, a
Fuse Box Cover and ECM Cover.  Both Fuse Box Cover and ECM Cover are now available from
Bangastang here's the link 2010-2012 Billet Covers
Besides looking the part the Hell Snake also performs.  A complete Eibach Coil Over suspension kit, Eibach Sway Bars, Blow By Racing Lower Control Arms, Whipple 2.9 Supercharger, Shelby Extreme brakes, JLT 127mm  Cold Air Intake, JBA 3 inch exhaust the Hell Snake laid down 685 RWHP and 627 RWTQ,  with 17 lbs of boost after custom dyno tuning by Greg Rentis of Renegade Performance

The Hell Snake was a joint project from Bangastang,  Pat's Custom Cars and Danny Whitfield. Contributors to the build included Cal Pony Cars, Renegade Performance and SilverHorse Racing,

Engine Bay Dress Up Made Easy

Chances are if you own a Shelby GT500 you are showing it on the weekends. If you are showing your car then you know that one of the areas that the Judges really look at long and hard is the engine bay. They spend a lot of time poking in and around looking for something to give you points for or deduct points for. This is where most trophies are won or lost, and you need to do all you can to really score points here.

Bangastang's Shelby GT500 Radiator Cover is one of those products that can help you in your quest for the gold. This product really makes a visual impact right off the bat. The minute you open the hood your car will look different, better, COOLER than the other cars around you. This Mustang Radiator Cover gives your engine bay a sleek, totally custom look for a price that is very reasonable. Just make sure you get the right one for your model year, as Bangastang has a Radiator Cover to fit the 2010 - 2012 GT500 as well as the TRUE bad ass the Shelby GT500 KR King of the Road!

This product gets better and better as you discover that Bangastang delivers it custom painted to match the original Ford paint codes your Shelby GT500 came with, so it will absolutely match your stock paint regardless of the body or stripe color.

But what really continues to impressed me is the consistent high-quality fit and finish of this and all of Bangastang’s products. This Shelby GT500 Radiator Cover is a nearly idiot-proof bolt on installation and it fits like a factory product so no muss, no fuss, no fitting, trimming, or cussing in the driveway.  the most is that it

If you are showing your car you NEED one of these on your car or you will be seeing a lot of 2nd and 3rd place trophies on your mantel. .

Auto Magazine Collection for Sale

Every so often we come across rare Mustang parts but in this case it's a collection of automotive magazines that date back to 1950.  Ten years ago while attending a garage sale I saw a large collection of automotive magazines, being a avid car enthusiast I purchased all of the magazine which were in several boxes.  For over ten years these magazines have been stored away and occasionally read.
The publications include Motor Life, Motor World, Car Life, Hop Up and Motor Life, Speed Age, Motor Trend, Speed Age, Road & Track, Sport Car Illustrated and two official programs from the Indy 500. All totaled there are 122 magazines with the oldest being a March 1950 issue of Motor Trend  and the most current is 1966 issue of Car Life.  For any automotive historian or car enthusiast reading these magazines is quite an education into the automotive world from decades ago.
The automotive industry has changed since 1950 and reading articles about disc brakes, dual carbs and automotive icons of days past will give you an education into the auto industry that would take Ken Burns several years to produce in a documentary.  The articles in this collection of magazines is fascinating history.

We're offering this collection of 122 magazines for  $1,500.00.  We will provide a detailed list of all the magazines in a pdf file for interested parties.  If you're interested please send email us at info@bangastang.com
