Carbon Fiber Mustang Roof Cover

Thinking out of the box can be hard for some people and quite easy for others.  Coming up with a new product that is innovative and gets people attention is even harder.  I've finally crossed paths with a Mustang accessory that does all of that and a bag of chips, the carbon fiber Mustang Roof Cover for the 2005-2012 Ford Mustang.

5.0 Engine Dress-Up Kit

The new Mustang 2011 5.0 motor offers many options for customizing and Bangastang used every option possible.  We started with a blank canvas and a little paint, along with some cool parts from
Airaid and Cal Pony Cars.  Here's what the 2011 5.0 Mustang engine bay looks like stock.

A great canvas to work with, complete with radiator cover and  plenum cover but void of color and that's where Bangastang comes in.  Adding some color along with highlights is like a woman having her hair styled but in this case it's a Mustang's engine bay.  Hairstylist look at the woman face to see what colors and tones stand out then they use highlights that make her features pop.  We took notice of the 5.0 overall layout...coil covers, plenum cover, fuse box, strut tower brace, cold air intake and radiator cover.  Using the exterior color of Race Red we built a foundation complete with highlights that brought out the existing colors, while adding depth and flow.  We added a Cal Pony Car fuse box cover,  Battery and Master Cylinder Cover and Airaid Cold Air Intake.  We painted all parts and did custom airbrushing and striping.  Here's what we came up with.

Use your canvas and paint, add highlights, depth, detail and flow,  you will amazed at the outcome.

Count your Blessings not your Horsepower

With all the natural disasters that have taken place....tsunami, earthquakes, floods, and tornadoes, I can't help but feel a great deal of sadness for the victims and survivors of victims.  Loved ones and generations of families have been wiped out in seconds.

The stories that we've watched on television are just a one minute and thirty second snippet into the lives of people that have lost sons, daughters, grandparents, parents, friends, pets and all of their possessions.  No prom, no wedding, no 25th wedding anniversary, no pearl necklace that belonged to my great grandmother.....all gone.  A one minute and thirty second news story can't touch the depth of the pain and grief that Joplin Missouri must feel.

Too many of us are whiners, we complain about material things that we are blessed to have.  My Mustang needs a paint job, but you have a car.  I need to get my windows tinted on my GT, but you have windows. I need 20s on my GT500, you have a car.  Maybe some of you can't imagine not having a front door, least of all a home that still stands or a closet full of clothes.  The phrase "gone in 60 seconds"does not necessarily apply to car.  Don't think for a moment that you're safe,  tragedy can happen to anyone of us in a blink of an eye.

Take a couple of hours to realize what you have and how blessed, not lucky you are.  Think about the
tornado victims that can't find their homes because it's been torn away.
