The other day I saw a teenager driving an old Datsun B210 HONEY BEE... and yes... the kid had put about $2,000 into custom wheels and tires! I was next to him at a red light and just started to laugh... I couldn't help my self. The kid looked over, made eye contact and tried to give me "The Look" and I just butsted out laughing even more! The light turned green and he drove off angrily in a puff of blue smoke.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is, a few minutes later I pulled up at a light next to a gorgeous new Mustang - again with a teenager behind the wheel. And as beautiful as his showroom stock car was, I realized that there were THREE other new mustangs in my immediate field of vission and that there was nothing diferentiating HIS car from the any of the others! And I thought it was such a shame... the idiot in the Datsun Honey Bee trying desperately to pollish a turd and the guy driving one of the prettiest cars to ever roll off a production line who was driving a car that looked just like all the others.
